Band Notes 4/29 to 5/5

Huge congratulations to all of our students that participated in the WIAA/WMEA State Solo & Ensemble Contest this weekend. Our students represented our music department incredibly well with all of our students receiving at least 1 superior rating from 3 judges.

Believe it or not ... we're heading into May THIS WEEK! That means we have a lot to do :D This includes 3 weeks of in class rehearsal on music for the Lilac Parade and our Anaheim Heritage Festival music ... PLEASE PRACTICE. You will be amazed how quickly we make things sound great if each person spends 15 - 20 quality minutes working on their music. Don't forget that the Lilac Parade music must be memorized!

Also to be done in May is a big trip :D. It is time to make sure everyone attending our So Cal trip is informed. Please don't forget to read through our So Cal 2024 Information Guide which includes a section on Trip Expectations. At the conclusion of our May 14 final information meeting, we will need to have EVERY TRAVELER and their parent/guardian signed off on expectations by completing the last page of the So Cal 2024 Information Guide.
