Band Notes 6/10 to 6/14 - Last week!

Thank you to everyone in our band community👏🏼 What a wonderful week of celebration through our awards concert, our band picnic, and of course the Mead HS Graduation at McCarthy Center at GU. Congrats to all of our graduates!🎉 What a wonderful class of young adults and future leaders of our communities - you will be missed but are forever a part of our family, our memories, and the legacy of the Mead HS Band!

This week we will NOT be playing instruments in class. Students are free to take instruments home for the year. Don't forget to do some maintenance on them over the summer! In classes we will be focusing on turn in of items (uniforms, instruments, books, mouthpieces, etc.)

THIS WEEK - Finals Week/Last Week!

• Monday, June 10

  • Collection of tuxes, dresses and all other uniform parts.

• Tuesday, June 11 -

  • Finals 1 & 4

  • Bandwagon 2024/2025 Executive Board Meeting (board members only)

• Wednesday, June 12 -

  • Finals 2 & 5 - hand in instruments for summer repair and cleaning, turn in music, etc.

  • Dine Out at Chipotle

• Thursday, June 13

  • Finals 3 & 6 - organize/prep percussion equipment (cymbals, etc)

  • 2024/2025 Info Night

  • 7pm, MHS Music Department (fundraising, classes, schedule, Marching Band info, etc)

• June 14 - Last Day of School
