Happy Sunday afternoon everyone. It sure is nice to see beautiful days starting to happen!

Thanks to many of our parents that were willing to help out getting things organized around the band room! Carrie Babcock, Kori and Matt Baker, Jaime Lamanna, Lisa Forsyth and a few others helped organize our parent storage room and get uniforms orgainzed for the upcoming Lilac Parade (May 18). Thank you to our U of I Jazz Festival chaperones Amanda Short andHeather Capeller. We had a beautiful day on campus

Congrats to Jazz 1 Combo on their Runner Up finish at U of I. I hope to know more specific results for the other entries throughout the week. Congrats to our members recognized as outstanding musicians - Teghan Bright, Collin Capeller, Valin Gabriel, Jace Samaha, Katherine Selby, Asher Wynne. Special thanks to all of you that play a vital role in those positions that don't often get individual recognition. You are the foundation of our group!

Thanks to Chip Miller for his work making timpani covers for us!
