Band Notes 11/13 to 11/19

What a great week we are finishing up! It was awesome to share our music with everyone at Tuesday's Fall Veterans concert and it was an absolute honor to celebrate and recognize our Veterans! Seeing all of them stand during their service branch songs was moving for me and I hope impactful and meaningful for you and of course, them!

Thank you to everyone that helped at the Bandwagon Craft Fair. What a wonderful event full of crafters, shoppers, and incredible volunteers from our program both parents and students! I believe this is the most vendors we've ever had. Again, a HUGE thank you to Kori Baker and the entire craft fair crew (Jaime Lamanna, Lisa Forsyth, Amanda Short, Mark Rodewald, Brandon Campbell, Angelique Paramore, Kathy Connelly, Amy Felt, Rebecca Avis-Browning, and more) for all of their organization and prep work to make this work!

DINE OUT at FROYO

Don't forget to treat yourself to some frozen yogurt at Froyo Earth this Wednesday, 11/15. Our program will be receiving 20 percent of the proceeds for the day! Also, several of our Jazz 1 students will be there performing :D

  • Fall Jazz Bands Concert, 7pm, MHS THEATRE

    • Please report no later than 6:30pm

    • Most of the setup will be done during zero hour on Tuesday morning

• Wednesday 11/15

  • Dine out at Froyo

    • Swing by and catch some of our jazz students performing!

• Friday 11/17

  • SFCC Jazz Workshops for JAZZ 1

    • Jazz 1 students out of school for periods 3 thru 6

NEXT WEEK - 11/20 to 11/26, Thanksgiving break coming up!
