Band Notes 10/23 to 10/29

Halloween and the month of November are just around the corner .. can you believe it? That means we are entering into the final week of the marching band season with a busy week ahead, have concerts coming up, and have another BIG fundraiser ahead (craft fair).

Congrats to our MBCG on their performances last weekend! This group has been improving from the start and entertaining crowds - bravo! As always, thank you so much to everyone that volunteered moving the pit equipment and props, serving food, sleeping on gym floors and more! THANK YOU!

CRAFT FAIR COMING SOON!

Our Mead Bandwagon Craft Fair (band booster club) is scheduled for November 11th and 12th with setup taking place on November 10th. This fundraiser is run by our booster club for our general fund but absolutely takes our band community to pull off successfully! We'll ask each student to put in a 3 to 4 hour shift either on setup day, or during operating hours on 11/11 or 11/12. Our students have a great time with this event interacting with all of our vendors and customers and will receive community service credit towards their band grade!

FUNDRAISER & SO CAL REMINDER!

Students in need of assistance must help us help them! This means participating in as many fundraisers as possible as well as paying as much as you possibly can. If these things do not happen, the entire group is in jeopardy of not being able to attend.

We are absolutely committed, and happy to help everyone experience our activities. We need your help!

Last Thursday (10/19) I was able to share where we are in trip planning and answer many discussions. It was a great evening with much dialogue and excitement for this trip!
