Australian composer and conductor, Ralph Hultgren will be an artist – in residence for the week of December 1st – 4th at Central Valley High School. He will be on campus all morning and afternoon rehearsing and providing workshops on music and education.
Ralph has been the two – time winner of Yamaha’s Composer of the Year award and has also received the Citation of Excellence from the Australian Band and Orchestra Director’s Association. He is an incredible conductor and composer, with the patience to teach both at the collegiate level (Griffith University Wind Symphony) and the middle school – aged level . . . at the same time!
Feel free to drop by anytime during the week to participate in any of the events. The workshops are designed for student and teachers with leadership and music lessons intertwined.
